Anne McGrath

Producer Anne McGrath has been stage managing since age 14, and she fell into producing by accident when she decided on a whim to apply to produce the Freshman Musical in her first month at Harvard.  Since then, Anne has produced numerous other plays and musicals at Harvard.  In addition to working in every major theater venue on campus, she has produced several pieces in nontraditional spaces such as an experimental promenade performance through one of the residential houses and a one act showcase in an intimate studio space.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Harvard-Radcliffe Gilbert & Sullivan Players, and served as Treasurer for the 2011 fiscal year.

Before attending Harvard Anne took a year off to pursue professional experience in entertainment.  She worked as a literary intern at The Public Theater in New York City and a production assistant on the Disney Channel’s Suite Life of Deck.  A Fringe veteran, The House of Shadows marks her third trip to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival after two years with the HWS Rembiko project (2005, 2007) as a stage manager and assistant director.  She recently completed a production apprenticeship with The Blank Theater in Hollywood, CA and produced the short film Slushamed.
